Your Impact

We supported Kids Join the Fight Foundation and Walker's Imaginarium with a $10,000.00 grant at Manning Family Children's Hospital, which honors 9-year-old patient Walker Berry. The space is designed as a joyful, imaginative place where children can play and heal year-round. It also includes a dedicated area for KDE to share its history and spirit in recognition of KDE's support. The space is nearly complete and will open soon.

We also supported the Police & Justice Foundation - Adopt-a-Cop program with a $5,000.00 grant. This year again we will Show our Krewe in Blue how much you appreciate their work in helping New Orleans remain one of America's most fun and authentic cities—with a hat tip, a heartfelt "thank you," or a donation to Adopt-a-Cop. During Mardi Gras and throughout the year, NOPJF representatives walk the parade route to thank officers personally for their service and sacrifice. There would be no purple, green, and gold without the blue.

Morris Jeff Community School was the first school band to receive a grant from the LTR RTL Foundation in support of its marching band program. We are especially proud of Morris Jeff's participation in the Le Krewe d'Etat parade over the past three years on d'Etat Friday.

This $10,000 grant will help purchase band instruments and additional uniforms as the band expands into the eighth-grade program. Congratulations on this well-deserved award. We look forward to the continued growth and success of the Morris Jeff Community School band program.

Support for School Parade Bands

School parade bands play an essential role in preserving Carnival traditions and cultural heritage. Our support will encourage student engagement and growth through music. A designated portion of the funds raised will go to band and music programs at participating schools, along with other worthy organizations.

Community Safety

Public safety officers play a vital role in protecting our community, yet many in New Orleans are overworked and underpaid. Krewe d'Etat Friday is a major Mardi Gras event, and we believe in supporting the public safety teams who make it possible.
